動物福利(The Animal Welfare)

  1. 道德(Morality)：利用動物在道德上是對的(Using animals is morally right.)
  2. 圖利(Benefits)：我們可以利用動物圖利自己(We can use animals to benefit ourselfves.)
  3. 利益(Interests)：我們的利益永遠超越動物的利益(Our interests are always more important than the interests of animals.)
  4. 痛(Pain)：我們不應該使動物有非必要的痛苦或死亡(We should not cause animals "unnecessary" pain or death.)。
  5. 人的做法(Human treatment)：我們對待動物應該視其對人類的方便性給牠們人道(We should treat animals as humanely as convenient to us.)

動物權(The Animal Rights)

  1. 道德(Morality)：利用動物在道德上是錯的(Using animals is morally wrong.)
  2. 圖利(Benefits)：我們不可利用動物圖利自己(We should not use animals to benefit ourselves.)
  3. 利益(Interests)：我們不該一直的踐踏動物的利益(We should not invariably overrule the interests of animals with human interests.)
  4. 痛(Pain)：我們不應該使動物痛苦或死亡(We should not inflilct pain or death on animals.)
  5. 人的做法(Human treatment)：我們應該持續以人道對待動物並消滅人類對動物造成之痛苦(We should always treat animals humanely and eliminate the human made causes of animal suffering.)

外科大體老師紀念館：

1.台大獸醫專業學院的小動物外科教學：
台大獸醫專業學院的小動物外科教學，長期以來均奉行人道模式：在訓練大學部學生及住院醫
師的過程當中，我們未曾傷害任何一隻活的實驗動物。
2.台大動物醫院外科大體模擬手術的教學規劃：
依據台大動物醫院外科大體模擬手術的教學規劃，外科住院獸醫師在訓練期間，會在資深醫師
的指導之下，於捐贈的伴侶動物遺體上進行嚴謹的手術操作訓練。許多主人在心愛的動物逝世
之後，選擇讓牠在地球上最後的一段路途擔任我們的大體老師，來教導我們的外科住院醫師，
並且造福其他生病的動物。
3.紀念這偉大而無私的奉獻：
為了紀念這偉大而無私的奉獻，我們特別開闢這個紀念館，讓牠們的故事可以流傳下去，供人
永遠憑弔與追思。
